The Khulna Divisional Museum is located at Shivbari, Majid Sarani in the heart of Khulna city. The museum was established in 1997. Under the control of the Department of Archeology, pottery of different eras, Hindu and Buddhist statues, inscriptions, terracotta plaques, ornate bricks, terracotta balls, terracotta beads etc. have been presented in this museum. There are also photographs of some notable archeological sites and historical buildings.
It is the second largest museum in the country in terms of size. The museum is displaying various archeological finds from different parts of the country, especially Barbazar in Jhenaidah, Bharat Bhayana in Jessore and Khanjahan Ali Mausoleum in Bagerhat.

Gupta, Pala, Sen, Mughal and British periods, various terracotta

There are thousands of years old specimens of different history,
tradition and culture of Bangladesh including the greater Khulna region
including various consumer goods, gold and silver coins of Mughal
period.
